FileOpener is one of the simplest archive extracting solutions that you could ever find. It’s a very lightweight, straightforward and neat application that lets you load various types of archives and decompress them with just one single button press.

Its main attribute is the ease of use. It comes with a neat and intuitive interface that lets you drag-and-drop any archives and have them instantly extracted. Though it cannot be customized or resized, its interface looks elegant as it is. The unzipping will be performed in a very short time. Besides its utter simplicity, another of FileOpener’s strengths is the fact that it supports many of the most common archiving formats, including RAR, ZIP, JAR, ARC, CAB, LZH, 7Z, GZIP and HPX.

There’s not much to say about such a simple utility. It’s also small, lightweight and resource-friendly, being a great asset to anyone having to deal with archived files on a constant basis. The fact that it is also provided completely for free makes it even more appealing.
